FORZA at the UEFA Under-19 EURO
Equipping a UEFA final tournament across four North Wales venues, 28 June – 11 July 2026

THE OPPORTUNITY
In September 2023, UEFA awarded the 2026 European Under-19 Championship to Wales. It was the first men’s UEFA age-group final tournament ever staged in the country, and it was going to be played on Net World Sports’ doorstep, four venues across North Wales, with the final at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground, roughly a mile from the company’s headquarters.
For FORZA (a brand by Net World Sports), the opportunity was not simply logo exposure at a well-attended tournament. A UEFA final tournament is the clearest possible test of whether equipment made in Wrexham and sold into over 180 countries can stand up at elite international level, in front of UEFA match delegates, eight national federations and a live broadcast audience. Passing that test in public is worth more than any advertising slot.
FORZA was announced as Official Equipment Partner of the tournament on 16 April 2026, joining the competition’s wider partner roster as one of 6 principle partners alongside Adidas, Pelly, Wrexham University, Dragon Signs & Lock Stock.
THE CHALLENGE
Supplying a UEFA final tournament is a different job to supplying a club or a governing body programme. Four distinct challenges shaped the delivery:
- Four venues, four different starting points. The Racecourse Ground, Central Park in Denbigh, The Oval in Caernarfon and Bangor City Stadium range from a professional league ground to community stadiums that had recently been upgraded for the tournament. Equipment had to land consistently across all of them.
- UEFA competition standards met as standard. Goals used in a UEFA final tournament must meet exacting requirements for dimensions, net fixing, stability and finish, with every goal signed off ahead of each match. For us, these standards represent the level we already work to every day — making UEFA’s biggest stages a natural opportunity to showcase the quality and precision of our goals.Training bases as well as match venues. Eight squads were based across North Wales for up to two weeks, each needing a full training set-up from the day they arrived, not the day of their first fixture.
- A compressed window. Group matches began on 28 June and ran to the final on 11 July, with venues turning around between fixtures and, in Wrexham’s case, hosting five matches including a semi-final and the final.
What FORZA supplied
Stadium goals at every host venue
FORZA Stadium goals, one of only a handful of FIFA certified Stadium Goals worldwide, were installed at all four match venues. The same specification was used across the tournament that is also in place at the likes of Old Trafford, St James’ Park, Hampden Park, Atletico Madrid, Aramco Stadium and KRC Genk. This allowed to local Welsh venues to access the highest quality product on the mark, so a team playing its group games in Caernarfon and a semi-final in Denbigh met identical goal frames, nets and fixings, consistency that matters more at this level than any single feature of the product.
ALU110 Shelters at selected venues
FORZA ALU110 Shelters were installed at a number of the host stadiums, providing team and official dugouts to tournament standard. For the community grounds in particular, the shelters closed a genuine gap between an upgraded pitch and a venue ready to host international football on camera.
Training goals and equipment packs for all eight nations
Every training venue was supplied with ALU110 Freestanding Stadium Box Goals and all competing squad received a FORZA training equipment pack for the duration of the tournament, so coaching staff arriving from Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Denmark, Serbia, Ukraine and the host nation Wales, could set up sessions immediately at their assigned training base without shipping their own kit across Europe.
Taken together, the package meant FORZA equipment was in use in every match and, in practice, at every training session of the tournament.

THE OUTCOME
The tournament ran to schedule across all four venues. Cymru made their U19 EURO finals debut against Spain at the Racecourse Ground on 28 June, and Spain went on to win a tenth title with a 2–0 win over Germany in the final at the same ground on 11 July.
Three outcomes matter most from a FORZA perspective:
- Elite-level validation. FORZA Stadium goals were used for every match of a UEFA final tournament, including the final — the strongest third-party endorsement available for the product range.
- Reach beyond the region. The competition doubled as UEFA’s qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and was broadcast live via UEFA.tv and Welsh broadcast partners, putting FORZA equipment in front of a European audience and eight national federations at once.
- Relationships with federations. Eight national associations used FORZA training equipment daily for up to two weeks — a direct route into governing-body conversations that would otherwise take years of cold outreach.
LEGACY
The partnership was built to leave something behind. Goals and shelters installed for the tournament remain in place at community venues in Denbigh, Caernarfon and Bangor, where they will be used by local clubs and youth football long after the final whistle. Alongside the equipment, the partnership included community engagement and grassroots activity across the host region.
That is the part FORZA is proudest of. A tournament that brought Europe’s best 19-year-olds to North Wales for two weeks has left four better-equipped grounds for the players who come next.
WHY IT WORKED
- Local credibility, global capability. A Wrexham company supplying a Wrexham-hosted UEFA tournament is a story that tells itself — but it only stands up because the product genuinely meets UEFA specification.
- Whole-tournament coverage, not spot supply. Covering match venues, dugouts and every training base meant FORZA was present at every point of the competition rather than at a single showpiece.
- Equipment that stays. Kit that remains in community use converts a two-week tournament into a permanent presence in the host region.
